my xbox 360 live gamertag got banned i think the message said "in accordance with xbox live policy, the gamer tag ******** is no longer allowed. please change your gamer tag before playing on xbox live." how could i change my gamertag? because my 360 isn't letting me sign into my live gamertag so how could i change it whenever i try to change it, it says your are not signed into xbox live pease sign in. so how can i change it please help thank you

When you hit the button to sign into Xbox Live, the error message comes up on the right-hand side. Under the message about the Xbox Live Policy (which, by the way, is about obscene, racial, or inappropriate gamertags), you can select the option to change your gamertag. Also, your account can be permanently suspended for violating the policy, so you should probably avoid using a similar gamertag.
Mine just got banned last week also, which is a shame because it was really clever.
