%26lt;more information is also answered in your other question%26gt;

First, call 18004MYXBOX and see if they can walk you through how you are trying to connect.

Are you plugged your Xbox360 directly into your Satellite modem, or are you plugged into your computer, THEN into your satellite connection?

If you are plugged into your computer, you will need to bridge your Satellite internet connection onto your ethernet card. That can be done in the NETWORK SETTINGS icon in the CONTROL PANEL in windows, and right-click on the adapter.

If you are transferring a CAT5 cable between an Xbox360 and computer, make sure you turn the modem off, plug the CAT5 cable in, then turn your modem back on.

If your Satellite modem requires a Username %26amp; Password, you will have to input that information into your Xbox360 so it can connect correctly.

Generally speaking, when you initiated your service with HughesNet or whatever provider you use, they should've mailed or given a paper with a username %26amp; password, and possibly other IP address information and whatnot. There is a place in your SYSTEM blade and Network setup that you can input that information.
