Live by Spirit? Lead by Spirit?

As I read Galatians again, I noticed something which bugs on me. Paul made it clear that Christian ought to live by the Spirit, not flesh, and in Colossians, Philippians and other parts of the NT epistles, living by the Spirit is emphasized on many times. If believers receive the Holy Spirit at the moment of belief, then we all have the Spirit to enable us to live Spiritually and understand all things, then why don't we throw the bible away??? (Hypothetically) Why do we need the bible at all? Okay, IF the Word is God, then the Spirit behind the biblical text is definitely God, we read the Word -- bible, learn the Word (1Co15, Jesus died and resurrected according to the Scriptures -- the OT bible), and then apply to living, thus we become true Christians by godly virtues of doing right which brings glory to God and bring men to God. If so, when Paul was writing the epistles, he didn't even know he was writing the NT, and the believers back then of course didn't have the NT. !wordlimit!

Jesus said His Words ARE SPIRIT and life:

"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." - John 6:63.

We do NOT become GODLY through works...it is by GRACE and FAITH in which we receive salvation...not by works alone..

the bible is spiritually discerned, and God can reveal things to you when you read it.

My example is this ,I knew all Gods wonderful promises ,and that God swore everyone of them would be fulfilled.

I had trouble with that , for example a blind person, a cripple.

what about all the good health and prosperity promises?

Thru reading my bible God led me to facts 1) He is the God of the tithe. and that he made the millennium to pay believers 1000 yrs for their giving a 100 yr life as sacrifice to Christ. The millennium is where we will have all owed promises given to us. Therefore He can fulfill every word.

This is why reading the bible brings answers to questions , and God can show you proof of His every word.
