Live in USA without parents? (16 years old)?

Hello. I am going to move to USA and I am 16 years old. From what I heard you have to have parents there to be accepted in high school. Is there any other way to get accepted without living with guardians there? I mean there are organizations that can get your someone to live with, but is it possible to study in USA and live in an own appartment? Do you have any tips?

If you do not want to have a guardian you can become an emancipated minor.

In order to do that you must go through the courts and prove that you can provide for yourself financially.

Because you are coming from another country this may be much more complicated. Can you become emancipated in your own country first? Can your parents come here with you to help you establish yourself? Is there someone that can sign for you and be your guardian if you need that?

Or if you have friends or family over 18 or 21 (depending on state) they can claim you as a dependent.

If you are legal to live here, and you have a local representative (a lawyer) who has legal power of attorney for the specific tasks of signing you into school then that shouldnt be a problem. If you do not have the means to support yourself and pay for the attorney (expensive) while you are here then you have a problem.

It really depends on your circumstances and resources.

You need at least one family member .If you have no parents or guardians, you can seek help from the state. You need to look into this further your self.
