Xbox live ppl, emergency!!!?

-k- just bought a wireless network adaptor for my 360, and it my first time connecting to xbox live(i know i'm lame) so yeah, the problem is that it wont connect, theres a screen that has a list of stuff. like

network adpaptor USB wireless

wireless network not connected

ip adress

pc selectec

pc connection

i put in my Wpa key and then a gray screen pops up and says" your network stteing hav changed. select test media to apply your setteing and test the connection to copmuters on your home network. select test xbox live to apply your settingsw and test your connection to xbox live" then i get to choose "test media" or Test xbox live" or cancel, i already done those, then it goes back to that list page i desribed earlier and when it goes to wireless network it says im not connected, i just really stumped, i've read what to do if it does not connect, i typed in my wpa key. i bought this adaptor used at gamestop if it matters, please help!!!!!!!

Try resetting everything. It should work then.

1. Make sure the wireless adapter has a GREEN light on it.

2. go into your xbox 360 and go to the network section.

3. test your xbox live connection.

As long as you have a router that is connected to the internet and good signal you are going to be just fine. Otherwise check the signal strength in the console that is connecting to the wireless router. Make sure that is selected and you should be fine. Otherwise call your isp and find out what is going on with your internet.
