Yahoo's front page has an article on some guy who claims can make people live a thousand years. Who would want to live that long? U?

I really wouldn't want to live that long because that is way too long. The main reason is that if everyone lived that long don't you think that space would be limited on earth this place would be crowded especially nowadays with everyone having babies lol.

if i could stay 'youthful'.

and i don't mean young because you couldn't be young when you 1000 but i mean i would want to feel how i feel now and be able to live how i live now.

i wouldn't want to have bad bones, etc.

i mean we're 'programmed' to live till like 100 so how would we react to living to 1000.

we retire at 65 because we're to old.

hell no, i think if given the choice of being tortured for the next year or living to 1000 i would choose the torture. with the ways of the world now i really don't want to see it in 200 years let alone a thousand.

na, i really do not want to live to see how much further destruction will be done on earth as time goes by. who's to say that planet earth would still exist anyways?

I do. My goal is to live "forever" (i.e. as long as humanity/earth lasts). I cannot imagine not existing. Maybe it's because I'm agnostic, but even if you believe you go somewhere else when you die, it's still hard to imagine not being alive. It's almost like imagining before you were born. It's just nothingness. You have no conciousness, you are not there. Everything I am right now disappears as if I never was, and even if people remember me/talk about me, I'll never hear it or see it.

So yeah, 1000+ works for me.
