Which do you prefer?

I've lived in small rural towns of 250 and 10,000, as well as a suburb and large city.

I'd rather live in a nice, clean, safe suburb that is 10-15 minutes from a major metropolitan downtown. Many of these suburbs have their own identities, are well cared for, and have respectful and respectable citizenry who loves where they live. Yet, they are still very close the arts, cultural, and entertainment offerings of downtown. I really enjoyed living in the suburbs of Cincinnati in the early 2000s!

My next choice would be living in an actual urban area, just as long as I'm not living in a "ghetto." I've enjoyed this, too!

I was raised in two small rural towns in Kentucky. I have grown to almost HATE small towns. I think MOST small town people are generally rude, impolite, and happily closed off from the real world. The meanest neighbors and work bosses I ever had were in small town. I've encountered meaner-spirited drivers in rural Ky. than in NYC or ATL!

I used to live in Florida then we moved to Georgia..a very rural area..I HATE IT...I've got my house up for sell and as soon as it does, I'm gone back to Florida...The closes Wal-Mart or even McDonalds is 30-45 minutes away..uggghhh..HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT..

So I guess you could say I'm a city girl :)

I live downtown in a large city...I'd prefer to live in the country
