they call almost every day for someone that does not live here.
Ive called them and asked them to stop and they always call back.
P.S. If your a lawyer and can help me sue them that would be nice too tell me what i have to do ( rec conversations ect... and i will for sure).

If telling them by phone has not worked, tell them in writing. Give them a date after which you will complain to the Federal Trade Commission about their unfair collection practices. Then do it.

Wow that sounds rough. Is your number listed under your name in the public directory? if you dont mind listing it that might somehow enter their system. I would contact your city hall information center and ask. Or your state attorney general, consumer protection division. Don't pick up the phone if you can see its them calling.

chances are your number is in an auto dialer.
recording the conversation will do you no good...besides it is illegal in some states without consent.
Your phone number might be in the demographics portion of someones credit report, and thats possibly why you keep getting calls, if thats the case, you'd hear from more than one collection agency.
Good luck finding an Attorney that will pursue a "wrong number" lawsuit. Its not worth it, and would probably never see the inside of a court room, unless theyre calling you everyday harrassing you personally, which in this case, doesnt sound like at all.
Just like any other company, sometimes you have to call a couple times to get things settled. Being nasty or rude will not insure anything.

1st make sure you are on the national do not call list.

Get a video camera and video and record visual prof that they are calling your house. Hook up a recorder to your phone and record your conversations clearly stating your name address and phone number. Tell them that you are on the do not call list and that the person they are looking for does not live there. get the name and number of the rep on the phone.
The next time they call do it again and kindly let them know you will be suing them. Get an attorney and have him serve the company with a lawsuit. They will probably settle for about a grand cash out of court and stop calling you.
