i got a Xbox (seriously, dont tell me to get a 360, or a ps3 or whatever. im a poor 15 year old) and wonder if i can get Xbox live for it still? i havent seen anything about it, but would i be able to get it if i went to like Microsoft.com or maby Walmart or Target?

Yes, you definitely can!
If you can't find a scratch card for sale, don't worry - you can get online from your Xbox Dashboard! Just enter your details and a credit card and you can get Xbox Live subscribed for a year (annually) or monthly.
As for headsets, you can find them online on eBay cheaply - any mobile phone compatible headset will do (like the Motorola type) but you will need the Xbox Live dongle adapter to plug it into your controller. Make sure you buy the dongle and not just the headset!
