baby Kaleb has suffered from SBS shaken baby syndrome at only 5 months he is fighting to live. but the part that makes me sick the most the fact thatt the women that did this to this sweet little boy is walking free only having to pay 5,000 - does the judge have no heart?

I heard about this little angel's story on myspace...I'm totally sicken about this....I have this baby's story and video on my myspace page. This woman should be punished harshly....she abused a child that could not fight back! We need to change the laws and make her pay for what she did...my prayers are for this baby and his family!!! Thank you for helping to spread the word about this awful woman and telling Kaleb's story!!!

I think this whole world is screwed up...people can get away with murder,committing murder,selling drugs and all that "good" stuff but if you steal something from a grocery store to feed your hungry baby bc you are poor you get locked up for life...but if you do any of the above bad things you get maybe the longest of 5 years if your lucky

I can understand your anger at the nanny. She doesn't deserve much pity. But was the shaking purposeful, or was she simply ignorant? Some people just don't know that shaking a baby can cause spinal and brain damage, or death!
If she did understand and just shook a baby in anger, she deserves a long prison sentence. Sometimes it is hard to understand the decisions made by some judges.

This is a very sad story and I pray he will pull-through. I am sure that if he does not pull through this case will return to court and the woman will be charged with murder. Is there a registry for offenders like this so no other parents hires this woman as a sitter? There should be somewhere where the police can post pictures of offenders to avoid this problem happening repeatedly.

I saw this the other day on myspace and i was crying just watching it. This is soo sad. The poor childs life is wasting away. How come this wasnt on the news? I never heard about this until myspace.
